The new year is a time to move forward with determination, to avoid past mistakes. But, behind the determination that fuels resolve, there is always the pull of comforting nostalgia. Is nostalgic remembrance a window's view on romantic and happy days gone... or false images of things only half remembered, things that never were?

great choice! mahall's is the definition of nostalgia. I love the shot out the window with the foggy figure walking by. Also the lanes with the blue wall on the right, the balls in the rack, open door to the kitchen - compositionally strong, nice color. This is fun!
