HERE I AM NOW

You may remember this 70s nugget of wisdom.
Easy to smile about, but not such bad advice after all.

So our theme for the week is HERE I AM NOW. I suggest we use only new images/videos, etc. to try to express where we are, right now.

Just noticed

my past two posts are very similar visually: color, proportion, placement. not sure if this is a coincidence or indicates an approach i have to composition or it's just the phase of the moon...

our little project is helpful in showing these things - i also noticed I like to angle things a certain way, so i've been consciously trying to vary that. what do you think?

Charming and downright educational vintage 'Orientation Film' for the Polaroid SX-70 camera

Polaroid SX-70 Orientation Film in HD (1972) - Polaroid Photography

Possibilities from the past can look just as amazing, tantalizing and inspirational today as they did in 1972!  Polaroids are really all about possibility and anticipation.  An idea so rooted in and dedicated to the potential of creativity can never truly disappear.

Theme for week of Jan. 6-12

Possibilities
Potentiality for favorable or interesting results. Capabilities, promise, talent, potentiality, prospects.

There are many spokes on the wheel of life. First, we're here to explore new possibilities.

Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.

We must remember that a photograph can hold just as much as we put into it, and no one has ever approached the full possibilities of the medium.

No camera involved here, just a scanner.

I uploaded the version at left first.

Unfortunately the added, reversed layer in Photoshop makes things too obvious, takes away the mystery.
Less really is more.
